Monday Tips: Can Artist paint us a profiable picture

After two wins and two seconds yesterday, we are hoping to make a profitable Monday with selections from Wetherby, Brighton and Windsor. Make sure you keep an eye out for In The Notebook too.

3:25 Wetherby – Dutch Artist (13/2)

David O’Meara’s four-year-old returned to the track to finish third at Catterick. He wasn’t too far off that day, and should be better for the run. He’s on a very nice mark and should be winning a handicap soon enough.

3:50 Brighton – Radjash (10/3)

A very nicely bred three-year-old for Godolphin, who has ran well on all three racecourse appearences. He was last seen finishing fourth at Windsor but was only a narrow loser, he steps back in trip and switches to handicapping. This looks an ideal test for him.

5:20 Windsor – Highland Cradle NAP (13/8)

Sir Michael Stoute and Ryan Moore team up with this nice prospect. He was last seen finishing second in a good maiden at Chelmsford, but indicated he desperately needed a longer trip. He gets that today, and should be good enough to take this.

8:20 Windsor – Je Suis Charlie e/w (8/1)

This three-year-old was hugely disapointing in a handicap at Newmarket’s Craven meeting. He finished ninth that day, but should be much better today. He looks like one who could compete well in big handicaps this season.
