Tuesday Tips: Beverley winner’s enclosure, that’s where I want to be

Four selections this afternoon, and keep an eye out for all you need to know ahead of Dante and Lockinge week!

2:00 Beverley – Porchy Party (11/4)

A nicely bred two-year-old for Tom Dascombe who ran well when finishing fourth on debut. He looks like a progressive type, and one that can win his races this season. Expect a good run from him, and a good season too.

4:30 Beverley – The Raven Master (4/1)

Michael Bell sends this three-year-old on the turf for the first time in his career, and I think that may encourage him. His all-weather form isn’t bad and he was last seen running well when third at Lingfield. He drops down in trip and can play a leading role here.

5:00 Beverley – Mountain Angel (8/13)

One we really like is Mountain Angel, who has finished a runner-up in his last two starts for Roger Varian. He’s been running well and looks consistent, this test looks good for him and we are expecting a solid performance.

5:50 Kilarney – Muzbid (6/4)

Dermot Weld’s three-year-old made a nice start to racing, when running on well on debut at Cork. He was a little green that day, and we expect further improvement from him. He’s bred to be better, and today should be the day he breaks his maiden.
