We didn’t have any tips on the website yesterday, but we did give you a winner on out Twitter page to soften that blow! We’re back ready for our review of the week, and preview ahead of the big weekend at Epsom.
1:50 Leicester – Westerland (8/11)
A top looking prospect for John Gosden, who’s lured the brilliant Frankie Dettori to try and break his maiden. This Frankel colt is beautifully bred, and finished second on his only start at Newbury. He should improve significantly from that run and will win a maiden soon.
5:20 Leicester – Twilight Spirit (9/1)
From an excellent family of sprinters, he hasn’t really shown his best in three starts. He drops into handicap company for the first time and has been handed a handy mark on her seasonal bow. She should improve from her juvenile form.
7:10 Wolverhampton – Dhalam (Evs) NAP
A good prospect for John Gosden who has placed on both starts, and can now strike in his third attempt in maiden company. He is bred nice, and Frankie Dettori has gone out of his way to pick up the ride at Wolverhampton and should make his detour worthwhile.
7:40 Wolverhampton – Ghadaayer (5/4)
A well-bred Sir Michael Stoute colt who got off the mark at Catterick last time out. He goes to the all-weather in what looks a rather weak handicap. He should be way too good for this field, and can add a second victory to his name.
