We’ve got four selections from a fine day’s racing at Yarmouth and Wetherby, can we make it a profitable one. Keep an eye out for In The Notebook, which is coming later!
2:10 Wetherby – Dontgiveuponbob (8/11)
Richard Fahey should just have this nice two-year-old ready to fire after two decent attempts. He was last seen finishing fourth at York in a much more competitive race, and now in what looks a weaker race.
2:20 Yarmouth – Enjazaat (7/4)
A nicely bred two-year-old for Owen Burrows who did nothing right on debut. He finished last at Newbury and should be better for that experience. He should be up to winning races on paper, and if he brings his real potential on show he has to have a big chance.
2:50 Yarmouth – Musical Terms (6/5)
A very good looking horse, almost waiting to win a race. William Haggas’ three-year-old ran a great race on debut to finish second at Newbury, before another solid effort when just caught out at Chester last time. This looks a weaker maiden, and he can take it if he improves.
4:20 Yarmouth – Singapore Sling (4/1)
A well named horse, and not too bad a drink. He’s ran well in three efforts in maiden company without getting his head in front. He also featured over hurdles but struggled, and this test looks ideal for him. If he’s improved he can play a leading role for James Fanshawe.
Dream Double – Musical Terms (2:50 Yarm)/ Dontgiveuponbob (2:10 Weth) = 7/2
